Weavie Board Co. is my own skateboard brand. It started in 2023 as a way to meld a love of skateboarding, and more than fifteen years of bumps and road rash, with a love of art. I design the deck graphics, and the boards are printed and sold on demand through BoardPusher, so there is no inventory to hold and every order ships straight from the printer. The current line includes Springer Salmon, a fish-tail deck, Forward Motion, Apprehensive Robot, Colorful Concrete Camo, Electric Avenue, and Space Slug. The brand has its own logo, palette, and hand-drawn section arrows, and the decks were also stocked in the Art & WhatNot shop in Arlington. The website is a single-page, hand-coded static site in HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript, hosted on Netlify. It opens on the tagline, For the Love of Art & the Fun of Skateboarding, shows the featured decks with each card linking to its BoardPusher product page, tells the story of the brand, and closes with shop details. Images are served through Cloudinary, and Google Analytics tracks which decks get the clicks.
